Future ProjectsWe've got a handful of games in the works. Watch this site for more details as these game progress. Keep in mind these are all working titles, so if you find some other game out there with the same name, don't sweat it. We have yet to release a game under its original name. Heck, the World of Esaene was originally known as the FuRPiG (it's a funny story - ask us at a convention sometime...)
NEW! The Next Wars (more details here)Modern battalion-level tactics in a hot-war, shooting environment. These games incorporate some new mechanics that encourage combined arms warfare, reward good command decisions, and portray different civilian populations on the battlefield. Real-world maps and units and near-future scenarios combine to form a fun game for grognards. Playtesting isn't quite ready for Origins, but we might have some big news on these before too long. The first game will be set in the Ukraine. Playtesting this baby now, and it's looking pretty good. Additionally, we're starting to shop around for printers, and this one should be on p500 pretty quickly.
Updated! Conspiracy Dominos / The Investigation EngineWe've radically redone the scoring on this animal, and are re-testing it now to see what we can do with it. Trying some new artwork now, as well as tweaking a few rules... but this one's not likely to see print before the fall, if then.
Updated! CardWarsThis one's being held up by the new Warfighter games and The Next Wars. A mixture of traditional board wargame with a collectible card game. Of particular focus is the ability of commanders to coordinate the actions of multiple platoons and companies on the battlefield to increase their overall effectiveness. There are no random die-roll mechanics. All battlefield outcomes are determined by the cards in your hand. Multiple mission cards allow for a variety of paths to victory. We think we have a solution to the movement mechanics, and we're testing this one now. We're also revising some of the combat mechanics.
